INSTRUCTIONS

If you are here to re-enable your subscription after a short break, click RESUME, above. Then fill in your details in the form which will appear and click the RESUME macTALK button. You will need your password to complete this process.

If you are here to subscribe for the first time, or to subscribe a new email address, first decide whether you will want to receive the macTALK messages in individual EMAILS (this is the standard method) or to receive the DIGEST version (the messages grouped together in regular compilation emails) and click the appropriate button above. Then fill in your details in the form which will appear and click the SUBSCRIBE TO macTALK button.

You can provide your own PASSWORD for access to the features on the macTALK website, or we can generate one to you at random. If you do set your own password, you MUST confirm the password in the second password box. If you decide to let us set a password for you, it will be emailed to you from time to time as a reminder. However, you can elect to turn this feature off in your OPTIONS page. You are advised not to use a valuable password for use with macTALK, and you may be better off letting macTALK select one for you.

The advised way to temporarily cancel your subscription to macTALK, (at holiday time, or for a short break from emails) is to SUSPEND and RESUME your subscription, rather than to UNSUBSCRIBE and RESUBSCRIBE later. The advantages to this are that it is a quicker, easier process, and that you will still be able to access the macTALK MESSAGE ARCHIVES (and the rest of the website) whilst you are having your break. This is because your password remains valid.

Do you need to email macTALK from more than one address?...
Arrangements can be made for the macTALK software to recognise and accept other addresses that you own, so you only need to subscribe one email address.
Ask for details.
